Tips For Beginner Fashion Models – Females

  1. Learn about clothes.
  2. Take care of yourself.
  3. Have confidence.  Modeling is not a beauty contest.
  4. Be prepared, professional, organized and reliable.
  5. Create a professional portfolio and keep it fresh and updated.
  6. Get phone numbers and address.
  7. Always use your gut to protect you from scam artist.
  8. Make it a priority to understand what is expected of you at the shoot.
  9. Never take anything for granted, always thoroughly check references.
  10. Always strive for written agreements.
  11. Always take your own make up.
  12. Learn to budget your money because model work could be unsteady.
  13. Never assume that 1 shoot or 1 image will make your career. It’s much more work.
  14. Maintain your integrity.
  15. Have a lot fun.
