  1. Have an online and hard copy portfolio.
  2. Always keep it recent.
  3. Keep your portfolio and resume consistent.
  4. Artist’s statement must represent you.
  5. Editing your artwork may need a team.
  6. Keep art-ing
  7. Keep only finished pieces of work for your portfolio.
  8. Exemplify artwork that is appropriate for the industry.
